Hestan Cue cookware which include a Bluetooth "end cap" require a AAA battery to work. A brand new battery can power the cookware for several months with normal usage.
To insert or replace a battery:
- Use your hand to twist off the "end cap" until it is completely removed.
- Insert a AAA battery with the "negative" end (−) going in towards the cookware. The positive end (+) should be facing outwards.
- Replace the end cap and hand tighten until it locks into place.
