Cue-enabled cooktops, including the (portable) Hestan Cue Smart Induction Burner, are designed to create a seamless cooking experience. When using a complete Cue cooking system, guided cooking recipes become available and help you every step of the way with videos and automated temperature control to enhance your cooking ability. Cue is also flexible enough to be hands-off and let you cook your favorite home recipes on your own, just as you would a traditional cooktop, but with the added benefit of temperature control. To do so, try the following:
- Start the Hestan Cue app. Register, then setup your hardware if you haven't already done so.
- Tap the "Control Mode" icon located towards the bottom of the screen. Place Hestan Cue cookware on the cooktop.
- Within "Control Mode," slide the app controls to your preferred temperature or power levels to start cooking on your own.
When using non-Cue cookware or the Cue app is not being used at all, then you can still use the burner in "manual mode." To do so, touch the power control bar directly on the burner hardware, and slide to your desired power setting. Slide left to lower power settings, and slide right to raise power settings. There are no smart cooking functions available, including temperature control, while in this mode.
