Since the Cue app is being sunset on July 21, 2025, you may wish to find other uses for your Cue cookware.
- If you have access to a Cue compatible GE Appliances heat source such as GE Profile, Café, or Monogram, you may continue to use your Cue cookware in "Precision Cooking" mode.
- If you don't plan to use your Cue cookware on a Cue compatible GE Appliance in the future, then you can use it on any other range. Using Cue cookware on a gas range may cause damage to the internal components of Cue cookware as noted below.
Note of gas ranges: We believe that many people who don't have access to Cue compatible GE Appliances may choose to use their Cue cookware on a traditional gas or electric stove. After all: Cue cookware is well made tri-ply stainless steel which can be used as regular cookware if the smart functions will no longer be used. This is because using Cue cookware on a gas range may cause damage to the internal components of Cue cookware. If you'd like to proceed with using your Cue cookware on a gas range, please remove the battery from the cookware before doing so. Also, do not let the flame heat the handle directly. Otherwise, your Cue pan will serve you as a regular pan for years to come!
As a reminder, the Hestan Cue cooktop and cookware can be used together in manual mode. Simply tap the power button to turn on your burner and swipe your finger across the power bar to set a power (heat) level. Remember, no "smart" cooking functions would be available in manual mode.
Warning: never use Cue cookware in the oven, an open grill, a fire pit, or any cooking method where the handle can get hot. The plastics and electrical components can melt or combust at high enough temperatures.
