When using a Hestan KICS series cooktop with the Hestan Cue app, smart cooking functions will be enabled via the app. During a guided recipe cook session, you'll be prompted to "prepare your burner." Here's how:
- Push the power button on the Hestan cooktop
- Touch the WiFi Connect (connectivity) button
- Enable the Cue burner by pushing its power button, and then touch the power slider for the Cue burner. If you don't touch the power slider, pairing will fail.
After touching the power slider, the app will "take over".
This process must be completed before every cook session to prevent "accidental" cook sessions and maximize safety.
