Troubleshooting Android: Cue burner or cookware isn't detected and can't be paired with

Problem: The Cue burner or Cue cookware (e.g. the pan) is not detected within the Hestan Cue app and it can't be paired with or "added" even after checking the battery and power are good.

Cause: The "location tracking" or "location services" setting within the Android OS is disabled. It must be enabled.

Solution: Exact steps differ from one Android version to another. In general, try the following: Navigate to your Android OS "Settings" ---> security and location ---> privacy ---> location ---> ENABLE

After this, please try using the Hestan Cue app again to complete the setup process. Your Cue burner and pan should now be detected and you should be able to add it to your profile like normal.

Alternate: If problems persist, try "pairing" with the Cue device(s) within the Android OS temporarily, then unpair. Navigate back to the Cue app and see if the device(s) is now detectable. This is not typically the correct workflow (you should not "pair" within your Android OS Bluetooth settings screen), but for certain devices it may be necessary.
